WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Stores Officer in the UAE your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing shipping receiving and stocking operations as well as distributing supplies and equipment.
- Managing inventory and maintaining records handling receipt inspection and issuance of materials and ensuring effective communication with management and suppliers.
- Quarantining defective materials managing stocking levels to meet client orders efficiently conducting stocktaking at regular intervals and establishing minmax levels based on consumption.
- Implementing proper identification and traceability methods for inventory.
ABOUT YOU
- High School Graduate with at least 2 to 5 years Engineering Stores experience
- Fork Truck License (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge on modern inventory management warehouse procedures & documentation in an engineering set up.
- Familiar with methods of proper and orderly receipts handling storage and issuance and dispatch of materials.
- Knowledge of established material handling procedures.
- Conversant with basic inventory control procedures and requisitions purchase orders invoices packing slips bills of lading freight tags and the use and meaning of each.
