Job Description
This position is a member of the Corporate Marketing Team reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Business Development. The Marketing Analyst is a team lead owning managerial execution of three key areas: Salesforce, GDSN platforms and Sales Team Reporting & Analytics. Role requires working closely with sales teams and key customers to provide data & insights continually improving our processes allowing our organization to sell more effectively and drive long-term growth. Data synchronization and accuracy of these three key areas across company platforms such as Infor M3, Optiva and Blacksmith will require software intuition, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Lead sales teams as the Salesforce subject matter expert, offering continuous training and support. Drive deeper into Salesforce functionality using Trailhead and other training resources.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and metrics within Salesforce to facilitate effective sales governance and performance monitoring.
- Proactively explore and utilize Salesforce functionalities to optimize user experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and resolve technical issues, assessing the need for external consultant involvement and managing related costs accordingly.
- Lead and manage GSDN platforms with accurate publication of product information and images to data pools like 1WorldSync and Syndigo.
- Ensure high compliance scores on customer GSDN portals to avoid penalties by regularly updating and maintaining product attributes and images.
- Produce, analyze and distribute monthly reports requirements. Report examples include sales team dashboards to marketing asset inventories to financial reports.
- Ownership of master data integrity including attributes and hierarchies at both customer and product level tying back to general ledger reconciliation and cross-departmental alignments through OVOT initiative.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to evaluate the outcomes of marketing and sales campaigns, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and refine future strategies.
- Analyze market, territory and business trends that drive stronger performance and help manage the effectiveness of promotional activities directing strategic decision-making. Scope goes beyond traditional direct customers to include Buying Groups and Group Purchasing Organizations.
- Support the accuracy and integrity of data migration projects within ERP systems, with a focus on customer and product information.
- Ensure data consistency and completeness across all reporting metrics, including third-party indirect purchasing data.
- Collaborate closely with onsite teams and participate in onsite meetings to drive departmental objectives.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills evidenced by the ability to mine data, identify performance trends and mobilize key findings into actionable recommendations. Strong spreadsheet modeling skills are required.
