Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an Associates degree in mechanical or electrical technology or 5-10 years experience in in electrical maintenance of a power plant.
• Must have a complete understanding of all Electrical & Instrumentation department activities and a knowledge of associated plant equipment and the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance of such equipment.
• Five to ten years of experience in the maintenance of power plant systems/equipment/components.
• Experience in waste-to-energy preferred.
• Five years of experience in supervising mechanical or electrical maintenance work groups.
• Must have experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems ranging from high voltage (13kv) to low voltage (120v) inclusive of motor control centers, load centers, circuit breakers, motors and associated controls.
• Must have experience in the operation and maintenance of medium or large turbine generators, their instrumentation and controls.
• Must have DCS experience with Emerson Ovation systems or similar type systems controls.
• Must have experience with fire detection/suppression system controls.
