Sr Engineer / Assistant Manager – Programming & Automation
Location: Indore
Department: E&E Reporting to: Director / GM

KEY OBJECTIVE/ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To study, conceptualize and provide programming support for automation aspects during manufacturing
of Blister/Cartoning/Case Packing/End-of-Line machines. To provide direction for all matters relating to
the machine’s Automation and Electronics specifications, programming and implementation at the
supplier end, point of assembly or at customer end.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ KRA’s:
• Programming of PLC, Motion Controllers, HMI/ SCADAs, for all new/existing machines.
• Electrical Drawing in E-Plan P8 for all machines including panel GA, cable chart, termination details,
• Connector details etc. Preparation of BOM and updating it per as-built machine.
• Preparation of electrical documents for all machines and validation on shop-floor during FAT & SAT.
• Support to machines at site for electrical, programming and documentation (Remote or on-site)
• Other tasks assigned by Head of Department or Unit Head

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Good Experience of working on different platform of PLC/HMI – Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley,Omron, B&R.
• Zenon SCADA V10 or higher
• E-Plan P8 V2.9 or higher.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (profibus / Modbus/ethercat etc.), servo, VFD, Electronics components, Safety norms. Exposure to Servo Motion controls, Robotics, Barcode Camera Handling, Camera Inspection System
• Familiar with ISO standards/ CE norms etc.
• Ready for extensive travelling in India

QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST TO HAVE
• BE / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation
• Min. 8 to 10 years of experience required in programming, installing and commissioning of machines using PLC, Motion Controllers, SCADAs, VFDs etc. (Siemens, Rockwell and Mitsubishi)
• Experience in working & developing high speed packaging machine applications specifically for Pharmaceutical, FMCG & F&B Domain.

NICE TO HAVE
• Experience in multi-axes Motion Control programming using Camming/Gearing or other mechanism.
Additional Certifications related to IoT,Industrial Automation, Project management.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
• Knowledge of International Standards related to machine safety
