Operations:
Manging ICT infrastructure projects for the new DIFC development buildings, office renovations,
Regular Data Center infrastructure systems inspections such as (UPS, cooling system, generator, technical room, electrical room, fire system, LV room, etc.)
IT Rooms Inspections for DIFC buildings (lights, cleanliness, cable management, cooling system)
Sending Data Center Notifications to DC clients (PPM announcement, permanent access update, Force Majeure, etc).
Attending operational meeting with other DIFC departments when and as needed.
Attending/supervise onsite for the major & critical works maintenance by the specialized
vendor for DC during office, non-working hours, day-off & holidays where applicable.
Attending DC clients enquiries through emails, phone calls, which maybe after working hours/day off/Holiday.
Assisting and facilitating the clients IT equipment delivery to the DC. enquiry, etc.
Coordinating with the DIFC facility management 24/7 (daily/after working hours/holiday/dayoff)
Coordinating with DC specialize vendors to ensure smooth service delivery.
Updating the Line Mngr. in case of emergency/SMS alarms received/ & after works completed done by FM team & specialized vendors
Reviewing & processing all service desk requests submitted by DC clients/ DC FM/ISPB provider (DU & ETC) such as PTA,PTW, PTARE 24x7 within the approved SLA.
Data Center and IT drawings preparation and reviews
Conducting regular inspections for the data centre and IT rooms and IT risers to ensure the consistency of all IT installation.
Conducting regular inspections to the MMP rooms , IT risers for the backbone connectivity counts to submit the reports to the line manager for review.
Conducting of regular inspection to measure the quality of the GSM services provided in DIFC by the two local ISPs and report to line manager.
Conducing regular inspection to measure the service quality of the public Wi-Fi network provided across the DIFC district common areas and report to line manager.
Monitoring the ICT infrastructure services to ensure compliance with the agreed SLA of service uptime
Checking and closing of any cases received through Case Management Portal.
Preparing and submitting the SLA reports for the online service desk requests for ICT
infrastructure requests including the case management.
Reviewing the backbone operators drawings and proposals before executing the works.
Conducting regular QA/QC for the IT infrastructure services during and after projects delivery.
Reports Progress reports for all the ICT infrastructure projects as well as the projects handing over
documents
Monthly backbone cable reports and ensuring the accuracy through a site inspection.
Monthly KPI Reports.
Inspection reports for all data Centre and IT rooms.
Utility Charges Reports for data centres and submit to Line Mngr.
Qualification
Having a good experience in managing IT projects with over 8 years experience
Having a BSC degree in electrical or computer engineering
Having a good knowledge in the Data Centre MEP systems.
Having a good skill in the AutoCAD to prepare layouts and drawing
