Senior Accountant

Seeking Maintenance Technicians for a great company, competitive pay and benefits.

Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and performs highly diversified maintenance operations on plant production equipment and machinery to support the achievement of production goals and objectives.
• Performs scheduled plant preventive maintenance activities on machines, equipment, and plant facilities as well as emergency and unscheduled repairs with the objective of optimizing plant performance and plant operating efficiency.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and carpentry functions, duties, and responsibilities which include testing, maintenance, and repair of all major components on the production floor
• Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and makes adjustments
• Detects faulty operations, defective materials, and reports them and any unusual situations to management
• Completes and submits assigned inspection and testing data as required
• Complies with and ensures that peers and subcontractors demonstrate safe work practices in compliance with Federal, State, and local codes and with company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs inspections on new equipment
• Must thrive in a fast paced work environment, possess a sense of urgency to troubleshoot and fix any equipment / machinery malfunctions and minimize production downtime
• Must practice 5S to assigned area of responsibility
• Utilize problem solving skills such as root cause analysis, apply 5 Lean Principles to daily tasks • Prompt reporting of any safety incidents to management
• Update and implement methods to enable a better, efficient process to work tasks and keep minimal deviations of waste / scrap processes

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years work experience in plant manufacturing maintenance technician role •
Mechanically inclined, enjoys working and troubleshooting plant machinery and equipment • Preferred experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing but not required
• Bilingual (a plus, Spanish) but not required Conditions of Employment
