ITP Media Group is looking for a dynamic, tenacious Events Coordinator to spearhead live activations and events across brands including Time Out, Caterer Middle East, Hotelier Middle East and Commercial Interior Design.
An experienced events professional, you will be well versed in managing clients and stakeholders, while also keeping a tight rein on suppliers and cost management. You will have a passion for big ideas and creative executions, and be comfortable leading a range of events, from 100-person conferences to 1,000-person gala dinners.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end management of events across consumer media brands including Time Out Dubai and Time Out Abu Dhabi, and industry media brands including Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East.
- Develop work breakdown structures, cost tracking, procurement and project plans, ensuring all stakeholders are clear on an event s objectives and metrics for success.
- Manage internal and external clients, as well as event partners and sponsors.
- Negotiate, liaise and collaborate with suppliers across verticals including AV, build and fabrication, furnishing, fit-out and entertainment.
- Collaborate with the editorial, creative and commercial teams, making sure all departments are clear what is required for an event.
- Provide regular reporting on project progress to agreed timelines.
- Ensure events are delivered to a high standard, and in accordance with the department s brand guidelines, goals and objectives.
Technical Competencies
- Bachelor s Degree in event management, or 5 years equivalent work experience in a related field
- At least 5 years of industry-related experience
- Industry knowledge of building and managing conferences, gala dinners and experiential marketing
