Expanding management consultancy agency is in the market to recruit a Business Development Associate (Home based job). The successful candidate is required to identify business leads, pitch services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with current contacts. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
    Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients; and conduct market mapping, when possible
  • Read news/market update online to check for new emerging companies, business partnerships and business projects emerging in the market
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
  • Research for potential contacts to approach using social media and other portals
  • Use various tools to verify email address and contact information of the prospective client
  • Record and update clients information on the companys CRM
  • Send companys introduction through the CRM/email
  • Send follow up email or contact client to remind about the companys interest in servicing them
  • Coordinate with consultant to schedule clients meeting via online
  • Suggest/recommend marketing initiatives organized to be done in order to gain more client attraction
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
  • Update ones knowledge about the services/processes of the company, its competitor and target market

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • You must have completed either a bachelor s degree or higher diploma certification
  • You can write proper sentences in English and are confident in speaking using the English language
  • You have an interest in doing research and use various channels to get the information you require to do your job
  • You enjoy writing emails, reading emails
  • You have the patience and desire to achieve your KPIs and goals
  • You are willing to accept failure and be rejected and use that as inspiration to become better in what you do at work
  • You enjoy solving problems and thinking out-of-the-box solutions
  • You have the ability and desire to look for an alternative solution when the option provided to you is not working
  • You are willing to work from home, work remotely, and independently.
