Assistant Manager - Business Development

Our client, an international construction firm, is currently looking for an Assistant Manager in their Business Development unit, and the right candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi. The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• You will be expected to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and generating interest from potential clients.
• You must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
• You must develop a rapport with new clients and provide support that will continually improve the client relationship.
• You are required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
• As the Assistant Business Development Manager, you will be working with the Manager of Business Development Unit, mid- and senior-level management, marketing, and technical staff.
• Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the Business Development person s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market and the solutions/services that the company can provide.

Requirements

To be considered for this job, you need to meet the following criteria:

• With Bachelor s degree in Engineering
• Good communication skills both in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
• Preferably someone with experience in a Construction / Engineering company
• Must be an active person to take challenging job
• Experience in selling advertising within UAE (print/digital/event)
• Accurate knowledge of competitive media
• Willing to be based in Abu Dhabi
