• Evaluate, price and modify plan design for renewals and new business on SME quotations in compliance with underwriting authorities
• Build effective relationship with sales and client management partners to win and retain business
• Manage portfolio of accounts by balancing profitability and revenue
• Conduct analytical reviews to identify and understand trends, patterns and insights that are used to successfully manage portfolio
• Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to ensure the appropriate use of products
• Maintain strong relationship with finance and actuarial teams to ensure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and models
• Provide concise, clear and decisive instructions on risk exposure
• Support rest of the underwriters on the team to balance the workload
• Be market aware; understand competitive and regulatory landscape
