Qualifications

• A minimum 5 years of experience in the steel trading industry.
• Proficiency in English.
• Expertise in marketing and the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
• No travel restrictions for domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of trading operations, from sourcing to selling various iron and steel products, while ensuring business profitability.
  
• Nurture relationships with key stakeholders in your area of responsibility, including customers, suppliers, internal operations, and senior management.
  
• Expand your network of relationships with customers and global suppliers in the assigned area of responsibility to meet agreed sales targets.
  
• Negotiate logistics and support financing deals with suppliers.
• Identify new growth avenues for the business, develop new stakeholder relationships, and refine overarching market strategy.
  
• Formulate commercial proposals to counterparts, considering competitors, market dynamics, company positioning, and the short/long-term strategy.
  
• Analyze macro and micro market data to make commercial decisions.
• Communicate market information and updates to peers and the trading team.
• Collaborate with the operations team to execute orders and settle customer disputes.
• Travel to meet customers, suppliers, and attend industry functions.
• Ensure operations conform to all technical, internal, legal, and industry requirements, in addition to the company's quality standards and procedures.
