Job Description

• The Information Security Officer (ISO) is responsible for the strategic planning, development and administration of an effective information security program. • The ISO will have system and information ownership and will develop, establish and maintain standards, procedures and guidelines to promote the security and uninterrupted operation of systems • The ISO will identify and address exposures to accidental or intentional destruction, disclosure, modification, or interruption of information that may cause serious financial and/or information loss. Desired Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in information technology and / or business process analysis • Master's Degree CISSP, PMP, ITIL Foundation or other security certification/accreditation strongly preferred; certification in multiple disciplines desired Experience in a higher education setting desired • Knowledge and experience with networking concepts, protocols, and services Knowledge and experience in setup, maintenance, and security of Windows operating systems
