Software Engineer - Mobile

- Technical leadership during all software development life cycle;

- Build pixel-perfect UIs, micro-animations and interactions across both platforms;

- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with Android and iOS platforms;

- Lead technical planning sessions of new product features;

- Lead integration of third party APIs;

- Coordinate the release of apps to respective stores;

- Create unit tests in accordance to recognised industry standards;

- Write and maintain exemplary code following the company's programming practices;

- Develop new business features in a fast paced work environment;

- Architecture design of the company's React Native mobile app (Android & iOS);

- Troubleshoot and benchmark performance issues;

- Mentor and coach fellow software engineers and other squad members;

Qualifications:

- 3+ years related professional experience using React Native, JavaScript and/or TypeScript;

- At least two customer facing apps released to Play Store and App Store;

- Experience with the React Native ecosystem of tools and dependencies;

- Experience with mobile CI/CD tools and practices;

- Experience with crash reporting tools;

- Experience writing high code coverage in unit tests and TDD approach;

- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies;

- Familiarity with native build systems like Gradle and XCode;

- Familiarity with schema first development style;

- Sound knowledge of design patterns, architectural patterns and coding best practices;

- Systematic problem-solving approach, combined with a strong sense of ownership and

drive;

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience;

- Experience working with GraphQL endpoints is a plus;

- Experience working in a highly distributed company is a plus;
