Supervise process pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up activities at project site ensuring safe execution technical quality and delivery in line with the approved schedule.
- Organize and lead technicians operators and subcontractor teams for daily commissioning activities.
- Prepare work fronts testing dossiers drawings procedures tools PPE permits and toolbox talks before execution.
- Supervise chemical cleaning leak testing catalyst loading steam/air blowing inerting package start-up plant start-up and stabilization.
- Inspect systems for operational readiness and ensure LOTO access control barricading and SIMOPS controls are implemented.
- Guide plant operators and monitor flow level temperature and pressure to maintain stable operations without trips or shutdowns.
- Support DCS activities involving alarms trips logic interlocks permissives and overrides.
- Track progress manpower and spare-part usage; identify constraints and recommend recovery actions.
- Interpret P&IDs process flow diagrams and control narratives accurately and maintain complete commissioning records.
- Coordinate with engineering construction HSE vendors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
Engineering degree or diploma in Chemical Process or a related discipline.
Minimum 12 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
Extensive field experience in process commissioning plant start-up and stabilization.
Demonstrated experience supervising large technical and subcontractor teams.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
