Job Description
Coordination and monitoring of supply processes and procedures.
Ensure that workplaces, assets and communication methods are used effectively.
Utilize logistics information technology to improve procedures.
Recruit and assign logistics department staff such as truck drivers as per appropriate requirements.
Oversee orders and arrange storage of raw materials and equipment to ensure needs are met.
Communicate with suppliers, retailers and customers to achieve profitable deals.
Planning and tracking shipments of finished products according to customer requirements.
Maintain records of stores, warehouses, and orders.
Preparing accurate reports for senior management on movements and warehouse status.
