Strategic
Compliance with all statutory requirements Direct/Indirect Taxes, DFM/ESCA regulations, IFRS,
Focus on enhancing the efficiency of operations through automation and reducing ;
Keeping a tab on Various teething issues related to SAP operations and its follow-up with the IT
Preparation of the Operating Budget of the company with detailed analysis and reports related to Sales growth, GP, Expenses, and profitability and ensuring its updation in SAP
Process/Operational
Provide analytic reports and variance analysis for monthly management reviews and quarterly, and yearly board meetings regarding the financial results of the
Work with the Accounting and Operations Department to support monthly and quarterly close
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and Strategic business
Managing the external and internal audits and timely
Review the Capex requests, calculate payback and ROI, and ensure timely and correct capitalization of Assets
Ensure complete Budgetary control for Opex and
Supervise and guide the Finance team AP, Treasury, Payroll, Fixed Assets, GL/MIS
Closely monitor the finance and accounting activities related to AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Payroll and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely with appropriate ;
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll
Ensure employee advances/loans are deducted in a timely manner
Monthly review of all AP control accounts, GRIRs, oversees the AP invoice booking process ensuring 3/4 way match is
Timely payments to vendors as per agreed payment terms, monitor aging reports, and vendor
Ensure Vendor debit balances/advances are settled in
Ensure compliance with company policies and
Review open purchase orders at least once a
Correct and timely uploading of XBRL on a quarterly
People
Closely supervise the performance of the Finance
Assess training needs for development and enhance work
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following criteria:
Bachelor of Commerce, or CA, CPA, ACCAequivalent
10-12 years of experience in Accounts and finance with at least 5 years of MIS and Financial Reporting in Manufacturing organization with distribution activities (preferably in UAE/GCC countries)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Expert knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP FICO and BI tools experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expert knowledge of MS Power point
Handling M&A activities will be a Plus
Should available to join immediately or if possible with a minimum notice period
Arabic language fluency will be a plus
Experience in FMCG background will be an advantage, preferably within F&B industry
