Senior Credit Analyst

Role: Senior Credit Analyst

Location: Dubai

Role purpose:

The role includes review / analyzing customers Credit Applications Availments and SFCAs.

Check documents and genuineness of financial statements conduct financial and non-financial analysis for Credit Proposals in accordance with bank policies and recommend the financing package that meets customer requirements/ capabilities.

Key accountabilities of the role:

Responsibilities:

• To review credit applications of companies with a and ensure that it is in-consistent with credit programs TM RAC bank policy central bank law & regulations.

• Contribute to achieving the department objectives goals & policies.

• Reviewing the credit proposals and recommending the proposals to the higher authorities.

• Highlight risk factors & mitigation in each credit application

• Collaborate with the RM to make sure receiving complete set of documents required for review / analyses of the credit application.

• Verify genuineness of customers financials. & Perform financials analysis.

• Conducting Independent checks of the customers business operations inventory levels reputation and business model through conducting a site visit.

• These checks are to be carried out by conducting interviews with the customers buyers and sellers neighbors and field visits to business sites.

• Adhere to KPls of application processing and required targets.

• Prepare/ review TM & RAC factors & MRA input.

• Maintain contact with all Business Units in the Bank to ensure high levels of Business units satisfaction

• Conduct any other assignments assigned by the Line Manager

Results required:

• 90% of cases to be finalized within the agreed TAT

• To process cases/transactions as allocated

• Ensure no regulatory issue for cases reviewed

• To attend and pass training courses as prescribed

• Help in maintaining satisfactory internal and external audit ratings

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:

• Good understanding of business finance economics and current affairs

• Analytical Thinking & Business Oriented approach

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.

• Initiative analytical & risk evaluation / mitigation

• English Language/ Arabic is plus.

Previous experience requirement:

• Minimum 7 years experience in SME/ Commercial Business and Banking
