Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Requirements

Job Specific Responsibilities :

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
  
• Strong Knowledge on Cloud Network, Compute & storage.
  
• To provide design, engineering, development, planning and administration of Azure Kubernetes AKS clusters for a set of critical business applications.
  
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products.
  
• Producing designs that are scalable, resilient, efficient, secure, cost-effective and minimise lock-in.
  
• Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations.
  
• Strong experience in Azure DevOps, ARM, PowerShell, Terraform and any of the configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef and Puppet
  
• Deploy, manage and support Azure cloud infrastructures using IaaC.
  
• Strong Knowledge on Devops CI/CD Solutions.
  
• Expertise and knowledge in designing Continuous delivery system with one of the following tools - Jenkins/GoCD/Bamboo.
  
• Good understanding of enterprise standards and enterprise building principles.
  
• Work closely with application, engineering, security and operations teams to engineer and build Kubernetes and Azure PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile and modern enterprise grade-operating model.
  
• Participate in the development of the end-to-end CI / CD process and follow through with other team members to ensure high quality and predictable delivery.
  
• Understanding of Service Mesh like Istio would be an added advantage.
  
• Ability to understand and delivery of Security and compliance solutions to meet business standards
  
• Modifying and improving existing systems, educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  
• Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
  
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  
• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  
• Identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
  
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
  
• Perform general application design, development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation.
  
• Design and develop software that can scale for large volume batch and online systems.
  
• Implementation of development lifecycle strategies, policies, standards and guidelines for design, selection, development, and ongoing maintenance of systems.
  
• Lead the development and implementation of procedures and modules to ensure the successful operation of the systems and realizing all the benefits to meet the business requirements.
  
• Maintain a log of staff access rights to the applications or any information to ensure the protection of confidential information.
  
• Ensure accuracy of the information entered in the systems to enable the generation of accurate reports.
  

• Provide support to staff in activities relating to the system to avoid business disruption.
  Lead the preparation and maintenance of documentation and standards for the different activities and systems user guides as per the overall documentation policy.
  Prepare and analyse complex statistical data and dashboards to support the reporting requirements of the concerned function.

  Ensure proper implementation of strategies policies, standards and guidelines of project management and control to deliver the target objectives within the limited resources, time, and budget.
  
  

Benefits

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Security, or any related field.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology and with minimum 5 yrs of hands on experience in cloud computing (Microsoft Azure preferably) and solutions.

Azure, Azure Devops certified, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.

Intensive Experience in SaaS, PaaS and IaaS

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery systems.

Experience with SysOps and proven application development and support experience in Cloud deployments in Azure

Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
