US Citizenship Or work authorization

18 years of age

Fluent in English; multilingualism preferred

Commission Based - High Commission Rates

Experience as a Travel Agent preferred but not required

Must own a smartphone with internet access

Must own a personal laptop or desktop

Knowledge of computer reservation systems a plus

Strong Sales Background preferred but not required

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or relevant field preferred but not required.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Planning and arranging transportation, accommodation, insurance and travel services

Providing expertise on Destinations -All Inclusive Travel and Cruise Packages

Complete training to book travel

Attend ongoing training webinars with vendors and suppliers to become a specialist

Providing promotional Material/ Brochures to advertise Operator Sales, Specials, and Promotions to sell itinerary tour packages

Ability to Provide Travel Resources to clients including but not limited to FAA Flight schedule, Currency Conversion, Time Zones, Weather Forecasts, US Customs, Minors and Travel, CDC -Traveler s Health, TSA -Permitted & Prohibited Items

Ability to provide information on US State Department Travel Advisories, Obtaining/Renewing Passports, International Travel Information, US Embassies and Consulates, Smart Travel Enrollment Program (STEP) enrollment.

Providing the summarized details of reservations and collecting payments/fees

Dealing with travel queries and issues that arise during booking with clients

Utilize software for several vendors and maintain client files

Networking with operators

Maintaining financial records and statistics in order to achieve profit and sales targets.

Managing Client Budgets
