We are proud to be working with a specialist manufacturing company based in Carlisle, who are continuing to grow and are currently looking for an Painter / Powder-coating Operative to join them on a 3 month fixed term contract, however for the right candidate this would be an opportunity to be taken on permanently

Painter / Powder-coating Operative

• Operation of Paint-shop equipment including; Spray guns, compressors, powder-coating plant
  
• Operation of hand / power tools including; Drills, sanders, grinders, and other equipment based on the job requirements.
  
• Experience in use of hazardous substances
  
• Marking up and labelling of components to a high degree of accuracy
  
• Set-up and lay out of components using jigs and templates
  
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  
• Quality conscious with an eye for detail
  
• Flexibility to work in other departments when required
  
• Reliable, punctual, willing to work overtime to meet business needs
