Job Description
IVVQ - QA Engineer
- Working Location: Mons, Belgium
- Security Clearance: NATO Secret
- Language: High proficiency level in English language
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
6 years recent experience in the planning and execution of QA activities
ITIL v3/v4 foundation certification
Quality assurance certification at the foundation/practitioner level
Knowledge of software/system/service life cycle management and quality management preferably in a PRINCE2 & ITIL environment
Working-level knowledge of MS-Office, Project, Visio and SharePoint
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and IBM Doors
Experience in software development
Experience in configuration management
Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization including the NATO Military Authorities, Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation
DUTIES/ROLE:
Reviewing and approving quality plans delivered by contractors or planners
Participating in all QA and QC activities, as defined in the Quality Plans
Reviewing contractor QA reports
Ensuring Process and Project Compliance
Producing QA reports for all formal IVVQ events
Assuring the accuracy of the project Requirements Traceability Matrix
Measuring requirements compliance
Assisting the TVV Managers with the assessment of TVV and the development of recommendations to the Project Manager
Provides support to BI-SCs with regard to Operational Acceptance process
Measures and reports on Agency quality metrics and KPIs
Works with Project Managers to help reduce overall Agency risk by developing a plan to assure risk reduction measures
Provides recommendations and guidance to the section head regarding the delivery of QA services
