DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Project Engineer is responsible for:
· Planning and managing the projects as per schedule
· Coordinate with respective internal departments to sort out the technical matters
QUALIFICATION
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years or Diploma in mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years’ relevant experiences
TECHNICAL COMPETENCE
· Knowledge of using MS Office
· Preparing project schedule using MS Projects or other equivalent software
· Project Management skills preferred
· Able to read design drawings and documents
· Communication and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Review client RFQ, assist for preparing Technical proposals, drawings and handling pre-order Technical queries
· Review PO in terms of technical aspects and organize kick-off meeting with internal team, client as required.
· Prepare and submit Project schedule as per PO requirements to Project Manager review, submission to client.
· Prepare or consolidate the Bill of Materials as per design inputs, drawings or documents
· Prepare RFQ for Mechanical bought out items and evaluate the technical offer
· Prepare Technical Annexures for PO
· Preparation / review of Mechanical data sheets from sub vendors, procedures for client submission
· Follow-up with client for approval of documents, arranging meeting and for other technical clarifications
· Co-ordinate or conduct review meeting with Procurement team to ensure delivery of sub-vendor components as required
· Co-ordinate with QA/QC team for timely clearance of materials and assist to get missing technical documents through Procurement from sub vendors
· Review and Monitor the project schedule with production progress
· Conduct review meeting with Production team for completion of fabrication activities within schedule
· Preparing weekly progress report for client submission
· Report major concerns or delays foreseen in schedule to Project Manager
· Prepare document close out status and update to PM for project close out meeting
· Assist in project close out meeting
