EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
A valid certificate as a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: SharePoint Developer (MCPD 70-576), additional Microsoft certifications or awards for SharePoint (e.g. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer are a benefit
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field, Master s Degree is a benefit
Demonstrate expert knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, JavaScript, jQuery and ASP.NET
Demonstrate expertise in creating and configuring SharePoint solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint features, data view web parts and custom workflows to meet customer requirements
Recent experience (within the past 5 years) in design implementation in SharePoint, leveraging the latest technologies and features
Previous experience in development of customized solutions for the COI Cooperation portal i.e. NCIA Service Catalogue or e-learning modules
Excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years) in teaching and training SharePoint, presenting at SharePoint associated conferences and/or authoring/co-authoring publications on the topic of SharePoint development
Recent experience in SharePoint development (within the past 5 years), as demonstrated by the successful deployment of at least five (5) different SharePoint sites collections customer references / URLs shall be provided upon request
DUTIES/ROLE:
Assess current status of the portal and provide specific recommendations and actions to address identified issues
Where appropriate, on- call assistance in the development, testing and deployment of customized SharePoint solutions to address identified issues.
Unify existing Communities of Interest libraries into one common library that reaches across SP Individual sites
Implementation of the NATO-wide visual identity
Technical coordination and implementation of alignment to NATO enterprise portal directive
