ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper s Bazaar, Construction Week, Esquire and GQ.

We are looking for an experienced, organized and capable Procurement Manager to be part of our busy and dynamic Procurement team!

The ideal candidate will thrive working on a diverse range of duties, be enthusiastic and be able to work as part of a team. They will be able to carry out duties which require strict confidentiality, a high attention to detail and will be confident in dealing with customers and colleagues, of all levels, from across the business. They will be well versed in prioritising their workload to meet conflicting demands on their time.


Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that there is a continuous addition of new suppliers in order to build a comprehensive vendor list and secure favourable supplier agreements.
  • Continuously negotiate with existing and new suppliers to secure best rates, credit terms and quality of product / service, in line with Company finance policies.
  • Track and report company-wide key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Management of all purchasing requirements for the Company to ensure timely, smooth and efficient operations.
  • Review and approval of contracts, bids, proposals, RFPs and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and scope alignment.
  • Establish and implement purchasing policies and strategies, procedures and best practices, in line with Company goals and objectives.
  • Introduce and develop digital processes from RFQ stage to delivery of service / finance processing stage.
  • Manage suppliers selection process based on price, quality, support, location, capacity and reliability.
  • Monitor any discrepancy between LPO and deliverables.
  • Resolution of any supplier grievances.
  • Direct line management of the procurement team including recruitment, training and development, processing of leave requests and disciplinary and grievance administration.
  • Ensure that procurement processes are communicated to all internal and external stakeholders, providing training where necessary.
  • Provision of a high-level function to internal stakeholders, ensuring a quick, proficient and accurate service.

Requirements:
  • 8 years + experience in a diverse procurement setting such as media, Expo, conferences, etc.
  • Holding a formal procurement qualification
  • Excellent negotiation skills, highly organised, displays a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Bachelor s Degree. Masters is a plus
  • Good market understanding
