Plant Operator

Minimum 8 to 10 years of

experience in O&G industry

Supervises the operation of plant areas from the field or Control Room, and coordinates activities

and control of the integral units.

Checks all plant equipment in his area during the shift and ensures equipment isolation during

emergencies.

Applies work procedures and permit to work instructions during maintenance and other activities.

Has full knowledge and promotes HSE awareness among his team.

Maintains continuous liaison with other Panel/Field Operators to coordinate the required

supplies according to production conditions.

Alters operating conditions or product flows to allow prior isolation of equipment for maintenance

and re-commences operations according to procedures, following completion of maintenance.

Keeps himself aware of ongoing maintenance work by reviewing permit to work records/logs.

Communicates with the Panel/Field Operator of other areas to coordinate operations that may
