MD Microbiology or Doctor of Medicine in Microbiology is a postgraduate Microbiology course. Candidates acquire the knowledge in the sub-specialties of Bacteriology including Mycobacteriology, Virology, Parasitology, Immunology, and Serology & Mycology
Detection of antibodies produced by the patient in response to an infecting organism (serodiagnosis) working with specialist computer software to undertake studies and research; Managing and overseeing laboratory work. Work as a key figure in the control of hospital infection and in antimicrobial policy.
