Oliver Wyman is now looking for a

highly motivated and experienced Regional Compliance Operations Specialist to oversee all key local compliance initiatives, including localisation projects.

This role can be based in our Dubai/ Riyadh or Abu Dhabi office.



Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential



The Opportunity


The Regional Compliance Operations Specialist will oversee all key local compliance initiatives, including localisation projects (e.g. BBBEE rating, ICV rating in Abu Dhabi, Local content in KSA, etc.), regulatory compliance and statutory document management. In addition, this candidate will monitor and support compliance to the Companys financial processes, contract management, and project-level localisation requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with strong organizational skills and excellent stakeholder management, who can drive operational excellence and manage various market-specific compliance projects across different geographies. Experience in Financial management, contract administration and project management will be valuable.



Key responsibilities of the role include:



Manage all localisation projects, liaising directly with authorities to interpreting requirements accurately, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Working closely with relevant functional leadership, to develop and implement a forward-looking strategy to optimize the localisation process (e.g. year-on-year improvement plans; Saudization plans), drive operational efficiency and market strategy with external advisors and vendors

Stay up-to-date with all regulatory compliance requirements in the region, including licensing and certification requirements, and ensure that the company is fully compliant and fit for business.

Oversee the renewal and management of all statutory documents, third party compliance contracts, licenses and certifications, enabling the business to be fit to operate.

Manage various market-specific compliance-related projects, audits, developing policies and procedures, and driving execution as and when needed (e.g. Saudi client data hosting project)

Manage the reporting requirements for any Net Zero initiatives

Manage RFP-related financial process flows, including bid bonds, performance bonds, and other financial instruments as required and liaise with relevant teams and external parties

Proactively follow up and track contracts, including monitoring contract expiration dates and ensuring compliance with all contract terms and conditions.

Track and report on global process and KPIs, and follow through the regional compliance (e.g., pipeline hygiene, Project Impact surveys)

Provide ad hoc support to Regional COO on internal projects and initiatives.


Who we think will be perfect for this role



Experience Required


Verbal and written fluency in English and Arabic language

Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, finance or related field.

At least 5 years of experience in operations management, financial management, contract administration or project management or a related field, with a focus on localisation, regulatory compliance, and market expansion.

Strong understanding of financial processes and procedures, including RFP-related financial processes.

Experience in contract administration and contract management.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and growth.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and track key performance indicators.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
