Open Position: Head, Model Validation (Financial Institution)

One of the top Financial Institutions in Malaysia is hiring for Head, Modal Validation to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur

• Good experience in managing a team of Model Validation Specialists with over 3 years of people management skills
  
• Lead the overall validations and reviews of the models, assessing model risk from the aspects of data quality, model/scenarios design, model usage, model implementation, model performance, model control and ongoing performance monitoring
  
• Identify model deficiencies through validations, communicate the issue with model owners and senior management, and provide feasible and adequate recommendations
  
• Review the documentation templates, testing packages and tools to automate and standardize validation processes with the team
  
• Work closely with the other departments to expand the range of services and solutions aligning to the model validation parameters
  
• Good leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders across different levels
