Industrial Hygienist

The Industrial Hygienist contributes to the establishment ofthe project industrial hygiene management system, including hazardidentification, exposure assessment and monitoring and health surveillance forNFS Onshore, in-line with Project, QatarEnergy LNG SHES policies and proceduresas well as relevant regulatory requirements.

Supports the investigation of occupational injuries andillnesses and communicable disease outbreaks.

Ensures that project occupational health and hygienemanagement procedures are aligned with Project, QELNG, QatarEnergy and RLICrequirements as well as legal requirements of the State of Qatar.

Reviews all occupational health and hygiene requirements(deliverables) for the EPC phase of the project in consideration of projectrequirements and regulatory bodies (e.g. MoPH, QatarEnergy and Project andQatarEnergy LNG health and safety requirements).

Ensures that EPC Contractor complies with the projectrequirements including industrial hygiene, food and water safety, heat stressprevention, ergonomics and camp hygiene.

Contributes to the development, implementation andmonitoring of communicable disease prevention and control plans.

Participates in EPC Contractor’s site and camp inspectionsand Company’s SHES audits.

Prepares inspection, audit and monthly activity reports.

Supports the development of a centralized database for heathsurveillance of Similar Exposure Groups.

Contributes to periodic injury and illness statistics andanalysis, developing recommendations, and reporting to project management.

Interfaces as key focal point between relevant healthrepresentatives including regulatory bodies, Qatargas, QP and EPCCONTRACTOR(s).

Reviews EPC CONTRACTOR(s) industrial hygiene candidates toensure they meet project requirements.
