Housekeeping Supervisor

One of our clients in the UAE, is currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to be based in Abu

In this role, your responsibility would include but not limited to:

• Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment
  
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate
  
• Responsible for assigning and supervising the activities of the public area staff; to ensure clean, orderly and attractive corridors, stairways and comfort
  
• Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly and attractive rooms in
  
• Assign duties, inspect work and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective
  
• Assigning cleaning task, checking that the work is done properly and producing reports representing the hours work by the
  
• Ensures that the housekeeping unit operates efficiently, meets performance goals, timelines and
  
• Respond and coordinate guest
  
• Provide a safe and healthy environment for both guests and
  
• Reporting maintenance
  
• Attend to the issuance of uniforms as well as guestrooms, restaurant and banquet linen, cleaning materials, supplies as well as guestroom amenities
  
• Look into the proper arrangement and storage of linen, uniforms and general supplies in the linen
  
• Perform side duties like mending, repair of uniforms and
  
• Receive all surrendered linen items, check if they are complete and in good condition and endorse soiled items to Laundry Section for
  
• Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff
  

Requirements

To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Willingness to work a variety of day/night and weekend
  
• Able to communicate properly in English
  
• Excellent people skills
  
• In-depth knowledge of the methods and products used in
  
• Thorough understanding of safety precautions in all housekeeping
  
• Skilled in operating a variety of mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor
  
• Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
