We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Governess / Personal Carer / Personal Trainer SEN Qualified Working with UHNW / UHNWI Family to support the education development behaviour and overall well-being of two young children aged 4 and 2 within a fully staffed UHNW private household.
- Take responsibility for supporting the childrens educational and developmental progress.
- Create engaging age-appropriate learning opportunities for both children.
- Support the 4-year-old with early literacy phonics reading handwriting numeracy and school-readiness skills.
- Reinforce learning from school through structured but enjoyable activities at home.
- Introduce the 2-year-old to developmentally appropriate early learning through play books language music sensory activities and exploration.
- Encourage curiosity confidence independence concentration and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
- Identify areas where either child may require additional support and develop appropriate strategies.
- Select suitable books educational resources games and activities.
- Monitor developmental and educational progress and communicate regularly with the parents.
- Use an SEN-informed approach to support individual learning styles and developmental needs.
- Experience with areas such as attention and concentration sensory needs emotional regulation behavioural challenges and executive-function development is highly desirable.
- Recognise triggers and patterns in behaviour and implement appropriate consistent strategies.
- Help the children develop emotional regulation patience resilience and age-appropriate coping skills.
- Establish clear calm and consistent boundaries.
- Use positive reinforcement and developmentally appropriate behaviour-management techniques.
- Adapt educational activities to maintain engagement without creating unnecessary pressure.
- Liaise with teachers therapists or other professionals where required and implement recommended strategies consistently at home.
- Maintain discretion and sensitivity regarding all aspects of the childrens development.
- Manage and oversee school/nursery preparation and routines.
- Ensure uniforms bags homework reading books and necessary materials are organised.
- Liaise appropriately with teachers and school staff.
- Keep parents informed of important school communications progress or concerns.
- Attend relevant school meetings or appointments when requested.
- Support homework reading and educational projects.

- Maintain the childrens routines education and behavioural expectations while travelling.

- The household is fully staffed and the Governess will work alongside nannies housekeepers drivers and other household staff.
- The Governess is not expected to undertake general housekeeping or household errands. Her focus should remain on the childrens education development routines and well-being.
- She must be comfortable working collaboratively while also taking ownership of the educational and developmental aspects of the childrens daily lives.

- Fluent/native-level English with excellent spoken and written communication.
- Significant professional experience working as a Governess SEN Governess Teacher Early Years Educator or highly educational Nanny.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development.

- Qualified Teacher Status Early Years qualification CACHE Level 3 Montessori training Norland qualification psychology/child-development background or equivalent.

- Previous experience within a high-profile or UHNWI household.
