Fleet Planning Lead

The Fleet Planning Lead should provide effective team leadership for the development and delivery of all Fleet Planning activities, whilst maximising operational efficiency and minimising costs.

• Leading and managing the development, production and delivery of Strategic Fleet Plans and fleet scenario/options modelling to inform strategic decision making and determine the operational prioritisation for the fleet
  
• Leading and managing the development, production and delivery of agreed and authorised Tactical Fleet plans for the designated fleet, including all scheduled Maintenance events, both On & Off aircraft
  
• Leading and managing the planning of aircraft into maintenance to ensure compliance with the Operator Maintenance Programme, Mandatory requirements, applicable technical instructions and capability embodiment programmes. Maintain oversight of both the development of the Statement of Work (SoW) and creation of the maintenance workpacks
  
• At a tactical level, leading and managing the Fleet Planning interface with the Customer, Maintenance Tasking & Verification team, Part 145 organisation and all other key stakeholders, in order to deliver the required standards of Continuing Airworthiness and contract delivery
  
• Managing and reporingt on the effectiveness of the SoW, Pre-Input and Post-Output Review Meeting (PIRM & PORM) processes and workscope completion achieved during maintenance events, across all responsible maintenance locations, both On & Off aircraft. Ensure any trends are identified, generate effective resolution, or sponsor escalation to management, as appropriate
  

• Leading and managing the implementation of changes in the customer s requirements, as they affect the fleet and maintenance plans, e.g. Fatigue Life limits, Capability upgrades, Customer-approved modification programmes, etc.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum HNC in a relevant Planning or Technical discipline, or suitable equivalent.
  
• Good level of Regulatory Framework understanding and the ability to manage this framework structure within the Fleet Planning processes and activities
  
• Able to build strong relationships with Customers, Part 145 Organisation(s), OEMs, Suppliers and other key stakeholders
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the platform contract
  
• Demonstrate operational and commercial understanding of the fleet s performance and business key performance metrics
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of Reliability Programmes and the impact of their findings on the Operator Maintenance Programme
  
• Able to influence the development of the Reliability and Operator Maintenance Programmes to maximise the fleet s performance
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of Maintenance Tasking & Verification
  
• Provide direction, advice and support to the Fleet Planning team(s) on planning related issues, addressing both individual aircraft and fleet-wide issues
  
• Able to manage the competency and authorisations within/across the Fleet Planning team
