Zentech Health has an exciting opportunity for Medical Assistant at excellent Interventional Pain Management office in the Greater Tampa Bay area in Westchase. This is a Part Time position Mon - Wed 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No Felony arrests or medication/drug charges. Pay range depends on experience $15-18/hour. Medical office experience required.
Medical Assistant:
- Greeting patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient s arrival
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing.
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
- Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight and blood pressure, and document all information in the patients chart.
- Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filled out and available in patients medical records prior to their appointment
- Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations; Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms-injections and procedures.
- Disinfects, cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations; Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required; Properly disposes of contaminated supplies

Requirements
1 year min experience, No Felony arrests or medication/drug charges.
Preferred experience: injections, pain management, empathic personality.
