Job Description
Job Purpose: To inspect and confirm serviceability/airworthiness and/or initiate quarantine process of received tools and materials in accordance with EK procedures and regulatory requirements to provide support to Emirates Engineering and Fleet operations.
Qualifications & Experience: Engineering.Materials & Stores : 3 Years Degree or Honours (123 or equivalent) : Experience in Warehouse and logistics experience in a maintenance organization preferably in an Aviation/MRO environment with minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse and logistics operation and material inspection/verification or experience working as an approved aircraft maintenance personnel. Knowledge/skills: Competent knowledge in aircraft/engineering maintenance data applicable airworthiness regulations office applications/systems and warehouse/inventory/ERP systems. Having authorisation/approval to perform aircraft materials inspection from a recognized airline/organization would be an added advantage. Details of Safety Sensitive role Yes/No Working at height Yes Exposure to hazardous energy systems No Heavy lifting Yes Working in areas with motorised mobile equipment Yes Work in confined spaces No Contact with contaminations materials (Humans/Animals/Chemicals) No Contact with dangerous good Yes Work in an extremely noisy environment Yes Work in heat No Working with pressurised substances No Exposure to fixed protruding sharp objects No Exposure to contact with moving/falling objects.
