Job Purpose
ITP Media Group is seeking a motivated and skilled Digital Reporter to join the editorial team of one of our core B2B brands, Construction Week Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Middle East s construction sector and infrastructure industry in the Middle East. As a Digital Reporter, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and engaging digital content to Construction Week Middle East s readers.
- Research, write, and edit news articles, features, and interviews related to the construction and infrastructure sector in the Middle East.
- Optimise and upload content for stronger SEO and Google Indexing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and events.
- Conduct interviews with industry experts and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to plan and execute content strategies.
- Manage social media accounts and engage with our audience.
- Assist in the production of multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, and webinars.
- Monitor website traffic and user engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the growth and success of Construction Week Middle Easts digital presence.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of digital reporting experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent research and interviewing skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Expert knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Passion for the construction and infrastructure sector in the Middle East.
