We are urgently seeking experienced certified caregivers to provide exceptional care to our clients.
As a certified caregiver, you will work closely with our clients, and their families to ensure that our clients receive the best care possible.
(Certified Caregivers Only)
Must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience as a caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy patient environment by ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Monitor clients vital signs and report any changes to healthcare providers
- Help with meal planning and preparation
- Ensure all rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies
- Accompany clients and nurses to appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate records of client care
- Assist patients and nurses on external trips
- Participate in patient s social activities
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Able to assess patients needs and report to RN
- Able to assist with all activities of daily living
- Able to prioritize own workload
- Self-motivated
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and written in English
- Able to work without supervision
Requirements
- Diploma in relevant fieldor equivalent
- Certificate in Caregiver training program
- Certified caregiver or nursing assistant
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
- Experience with babies or children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts
- Observant and committed to making our clients feel safe and comfortable
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
