Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with finance team in daily management of accounting department, including resolving accounting issues, ad-hoc reports for management, and specific accounting projects.
- Ensure a timely and accurate monthly general ledger close, review reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements for both management reporting and tax reporting purposes.
- Hands-on position, including journal entry preparation, account analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, as well as review of same
- Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, collection, sales tax, certain aspects of payroll, treasury and GBS.
- Maintain Chart of Accounts, master data and analyze intercompany transactions charges.
