Job Summary

Qualifications & JobSpecific Knowledge

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant project management or interface management training/certification preferred.
  • Solid experience in Offshore EPC / EPCM particularly during detailed engineering.
  • Strong understanding of offshore engineering deliverables IFC requirements and execution sequencing.
  • Familiarity with interface management tools registers and reporting mechanisms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Visio to support interface tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multinational environments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Experience Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in offshore detailed engineering interface management.
  • Strong exposure to wellhead platforms topsides and brownfield offshore facilities.
  • Experience working on multidiscipline multioffice offshore projects.
  • ADNOC or equivalent offshore oil & gas project experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of offshore engineering disciplines (e.g. subsea topsides pipelines)
  • Familiarity with engineering workflows and deliverables

Key Competencies

Health Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Demonstrates strong commitment to Worley HSE requirements and promotes safe interface management practices across offshore detailed engineering activities.
  • Ensures interface risks related to offshore execution construction marine operations and brownfield tieins are identified and mitigated through the design phase.
  • Participates in HAZID HAZOP SIMOPS Constructability Operability and Maintainability (COM) workshops focusing on interface hazards and mitigations.
  • Supports Safety by Design by ensuring interface requirements are clearly defined and incorporated into engineering deliverables.

Interface Leadership & Coordination

  • Provides leadership for interface management across offshore detailed engineering scope.
  • Establishes and maintains the Interface Management Plan procedures and tools in line with project requirements.
  • Coordinates interfaces between:
    • Engineering disciplines
    • EPC / EPCM Contractor
    • Vendors and suppliers
    • Fabrication yards offshore installation and commissioning teams
  • Facilitates regular interface meetings workshops and alignment sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures clear definition of scope boundaries responsibilities and deliverables for all interfaces.

Technical & Offshore Interface Expertise

  • Acts as the single point of coordination for offshore interfaces required for detailed design.
  • Manages all types of interface issues between Client Client other stakeholders EPC Contractors etc
  • Ensures interfaces related to wellhead platforms topsides brownfield tieins and offshore facilities are clearly identified tracked and resolved.
  • Manages interface registers action logs and boundary documents ensuring timely closure.
  • Identify all interfaces between engineering disciplines (process structural piping electrical instrumentation etc.)
  • Define interface points between different EPC contractors vendors and subcontractors 3RD parties etc
  • Develop and manage an Interface issue throughout the project life cycle
  • Facilitate communication between engineering teams to resolve clashes or gaps
  • Ensure design inputs/outputs between teams are aligned and delivered on time
  • Organize interface meetings and technical workshops
  • Track interface-related documents (drawings specifications calculations)
  • Ensure consistency of data exchanged between parties
  • Manage interface agreements and approvals
  • Manage Interface Register / Interface Matrix Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Interface Agreements
  • Manages Meeting minutes and action trackers Interface risk logs
  • Supports discipline teams in resolving technical interface issues impacting design constructability and offshore execution.
  • Demonstrates sound understanding of offshore EPC workflows detailed engineering deliverables and execution sequencing.

Commercial & Schedule Awareness

  • Supports interfacerelated schedule and cost control by identifying potential interface risks and impacts early.
  • Assesses interface implications on:
    • Engineering progress
    • Construction and installation readiness
    • Offshore execution schedule
  • Provides input to change management processes when interface issues result in scope cost or schedule impacts.
  • Escalates interfacerelated commercial or contractual risks to the Project / Principal Engineer.

Execution Planning & Performance

  • Ensures interface requirements are incorporated into engineering execution plans schedules and workshare strategies.
  • Tracks interface progress and ensures alignment between multioffice engineering teams.
  • Supports readiness of IFC deliverables by ensuring interface dependencies are resolved.
  • Works closely with Project Controls to monitor interface milestones and critical path impacts.
  • Forsee the impact of interfaces at various stages of project.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicates clearly and consistently with project teams clients and contractors government authority Licensors 3rd parties as applicable on interface status and issues.
  • Prepares interface reports dashboards and status updates for project management.
  • Maintains open communication channels to proactively address interface conflicts.
  • Supports client interactions related to interface clarification and resolution.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Interfaces with ADNOC representatives and key stakeholders on offshore interface matters under defined communication protocols.
  • Builds effective working relationships with EPC contractors vendors fabricators and offshore service providers.
  • Supports transparent discussion of interface risks constraints and mitigation plans.

Risk & Opportunity Management

  • Identifies interfacerelated risks and ensures inclusion in the project risk register.
  • Supports development and tracking of mitigation actions for interface risks.
  • Monitors interface risks throughout the detailed engineering phase and supports contingency planning.

Decision Making

  • Makes informed decisions on interface coordination matters within defined project authority.
  • Identifies and recommends solutions to interface issues considering HSE technical integrity schedule and cost impacts.
  • Escalates complex or highrisk interface issues to Project / Principal Engineer in a timely manner.

Supervision Received

  • Works with moderate autonomy under direction of the Project / Principal Engineer.
  • Receives objectives related to interface outcomes rather than detailed task instructions.
  • Work is reviewed for effectiveness coordination and alignment with project objectives.

Supervision Authority

  • Provides functional guidance to discipline engineers on interface matters.
  • Coordinates and influences crossdiscipline teams without direct line authority.
  • No direct authority over performance or pay; provides recommendations where required.
