Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver for light vehicles to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our transportation operations ensuring safe and efficient delivery of goods or transportation of personnel throughout the city and surrounding areas.
- Operate light vehicles to transport goods or personnel to designated locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Plan and follow efficient routes utilizing GPS navigation systems when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of trips mileage and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws company safety protocols and transportation regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and team members
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications :
- Valid light vehicle driving license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a professional driver or in a similar role preferred
- Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws regulations and Dubais road network
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Physical capability to handle the demands of the job including potential lifting and long hours of sitting
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Familiarity with Dubais traffic patterns and ability to navigate efficiently in various conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings and weekends as required
- Strong commitment to safety punctuality and customer service
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and logs
