Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time SEN Teacher / Tutor in Abu Dhabi to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with children and young people across a wide spectrum of special educational needs delivering personalized support that promotes both academic progress and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and/or small group teaching sessions
Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each students needs
Support students with a range of special educational needs including autism ADHD dyslexia dyspraxia speech and language difficulties and social emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
Adapt teaching strategies resources and lesson plans to ensure accessibility and engagement
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
Foster a positive inclusive and supportive learning environment
Build strong relationships with students to enhance confidence independence and motivation
Collaborate with parents schools and other professionals where required
Maintain accurate records of sessions progress and outcomes

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Education Special Education Psychology or a related field
Proven experience working with students with special educational needs
Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience empathy and a student-centered approach
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
