HR Executive Compensation & Benefits

About the Role
We are seeking an HR Executive Compensation & Benefits to manage and support end-to-end C&B processes payroll HR data management and employee benefits within a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll effective administration of benefits compliance with UAE labor regulations and strong HR operational support throughout the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

New Joiners & Onboarding

  • Coordinate bank account insurance and other joining formalities for new employees.

  • Prepare employment contracts and schedule mandatory medicals and other legal requirements as per company policy.

  • Distribute and collect HR forms for employee files and ensure proper filing and updating of records.

  • Process applications for employment visa Emirates ID and other statutory IDs/health cards as required.

  • Coordinate initial cash advance approvals and issuance for newly hired staff.

Contracts Visas Exits & Renewals

  • Prepare entry visa applications for selected candidates and coordinate with the PRO for processing.

  • Handle visa and contract renewals including preparation of renewal/non-renewal notices and coordination of medical and other visa-related processes.

  • Coordinate exit formalities for resigned/terminated employees including final settlement preparation visa cancellation exit clearance and record deactivation in HR insurance and banking systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support in designing and administering compensation and benefits packages aligned with business goals and company policies.

  • Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Conduct salary and labor market research to support internal benchmarking.

  • Assist in initiatives to understand and enhance employee motivation and engagement.

  • Prepare C&B-related reports dashboards and periodic audits as required.

Payroll Processing

  • Validate leave applications and update relevant files for payroll processing.

  • Validate overtime undertime attendance exceptions and salary advance requests prior to payroll cut-off.

  • Verify updated leave balances and ensure accuracy in HR systems and records.

  • Prepare lists related to cash salary salary holds and salary adjustments.

  • Cross-check biometric attendance data against HR payroll systems and physical attendance records where required.

  • Verify overtime calculations with applicable rates and consolidate final overtime reports for payroll.

  • Review payroll files and related invoices before submission to Accounts for payment processing.

  • Coordinate with IT regarding biometric system maintenance and related issues.

  • Prepare payroll reports and timekeeping records for internal and external audits and support HR in audit exercises.

Employee Data Management

  • Maintain and update the employee master list including additions and deletions.

  • Track and update contract expiry and renewal information.

  • Support in resolving employee queries related to salary leaves payslips and other HR matters.

Leave & Travel Management

  • Review approved leave applications and propose cost-effective scheduling and planning.

  • Verify leave eligibility before processing and escalating for approval.

  • Ensure documentation and policy compliance for emergency leave cases.

  • Process and track ticket encashment requests for employees opting not to avail company tickets or leave.

  • Update leave trackers promptly upon receipt of new leave applications.

Audit & Compliance

  • Assist in maintaining complete and accurate C&B records for internal and external audits.

  • Participate in audit discussions and help implement corrective and preventive actions.

Internal Communication

  • Support the implementation of internal communication plans including notice board updates.

  • Assist in sending internal communications such as memos holiday announcements and other HR notices.

  • Help in posting and updating circulars guidelines and HR-related documents.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Commerce/Accounts or equivalent; MBA in Finance/Accounts/HR is an added advantage.

  • Minimum 3 5 years of hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits within FMCG or manufacturing preferably with multinational companies.

  • Strong understanding of the full employee life cycle HR operations HRMS and best practices.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and HRIS/payroll systems (e.g. HRIS SAP or similar).

  • Familiarity with UAE employment rules and regulations.

  • Highly organized action-oriented and able to work within strict timelines.

  • Confident in handling pressure and managing multiple priorities.

  • High personal motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
