- Gain experience in all aspects of workplace related practices and DP World safety standards.
- Develop skills and build on knowledge to carry out planned maintenance on all items related to Reefer and general cooling systems.
- To learn to provide maximum operational availability of equipment by conducting periodic diagnostic work and repairs.
- To keep the Supervisor and other experienced technicians informed of progress & problems to ensure smooth flow of communication.
- To maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities/Work areas and all equipment thereby creating a safe and healthy work environment.
- Gain knowledge and hands on experience on how to carry out fault diagnosis on the equipment and ascertain the cause of defects repair methods and spare part requirements.
- Get familiarized in the methods of being able to select the correct spare parts and obtain technical information from the manufactures parts and technical manuals.
- Be able to carry out the above duties with guidance and supervision of more experienced technicians and independently where applicable.
- Start on a foundation to build on knowledge across DPW Engineering sections inclusive of plant & crane as well as mechanical and electrical works.

- Je staat in voor de administratieve opvolging boekingen en afleveringen van binnenkomende en uitgaande containers
- Je biedt oplossingen aan bij klachten in overeenstemming met de procedures
- Je levert correcte en operationele gegevens aan je teamleader/manager
- Je helpt mee aan de opmaak en optimalisatie van procedures
- Je voert gatewerk uit afwisselend met je collegas
- Je komt terecht in een dynamische en boeiende werkomgeving
