Job Summary
Performing welding operations on metal structures including steel aluminum and other materials.
Reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Operating welding equipment such as MIG TIG and Stick welders to join or cut metals.
Inspecting and testing welded surfaces for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Maintaining welding tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition.
Ensuring safety standards and regulations are followed during welding processes.
Collaborating with other team members to complete welding tasks in a timely manner.
Essential Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certification in Welding or a related field (e.g. MIG TIG Stick welding).
Proven experience in welding preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect welds for quality.
Proficiency in using welding tools and machinery.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in demanding environments.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of welding gear.
