Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in building construction projects including high-rise towers and villa developments. The ideal candidate must have extensive UAE/GCC experience and a proven track record working with main contractors or major electromechanical contracting companies. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of mechanical works from planning through project handover.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all Mechanical (MEP) activities for building construction projects including high-rise residential/commercial towers and villa communities.
Plan coordinate and execute mechanical works covering HVAC Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
Manage the complete project cycle: planning procurement execution testing & commissioning and final handover.
Prepare and review project schedules mechanical shop drawings method statements and material submittals.
Coordinate mechanical works with civil electrical and architectural disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Liaise with clients consultants subcontractors and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Manage site teams subcontractors and specialist vendors ensuring quality safety and timely completion.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and obtain approvals from DEWA ADDC DM Civil Defense DCD SEWA FEWA and other relevant authorities.
Monitor project progress control costs and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of total experience in Mechanical (MEP) works within building construction.
15 years of UAE/GCC experience (mandatory).
Proven experience in MEPworks for:
- High-rise buildings (40 floors)
- Residential and commercial towers
- Large-scale villa projects
Must have worked with main contractors or major electromechanical contracting companies (consultancy experience will not be considered).
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC Plumbing Fire Fighting and mechanical coordination.
Solid understanding of mechanical interfaces with civil works especially in high-rise and villa projects.
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
PMP / PSP / MEP or equivalent professional certifications will be an added advantage.
