Job Summary

*Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy trucks and diesel tankers, including major service tasks.

*Use truck diagnostic tools and software (e.g., OBD scanners, Jaltest, etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues.

*Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and brake adjustments.

*Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems, such as engine overhauls, transmission issues, and suspension systems.

*Replace or repair faulty components, including fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

*Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all repair and maintenance activities.

*Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostic results.

*Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely servicing of the fleet and reduce downtime.

*Proven experience as a mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and diesel tankers, with expertise in major servicing tasks.

*Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck components.

*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

*Familiarity with brands like Scania, Volvo, and MAN is a plus.

*Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for diesel tankers.
