Job Summary
Our client is a leading building construction and contracting company in Dubai is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team working on a mix of residential and industrial projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be technically strong site-focused and capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for residential and industrial building projects.
- Review drawings specifications and method statements and ensure works are executed as per approved plans and standards.
- Coordinate with consultants clients subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
- Prepare and update work schedules progress reports and site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality health safety and environmental requirements at site.
- Assist in quantity take-off material requisitions and verification of subcontractor works.
- Participate in inspections snagging and handover of completed works.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in building construction preferably in the UAE.
- Hands-on experience in residential and/or industrial projects (warehouses factories etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods finishes and structural works.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations and building codes in Dubai is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office; knowledge of planning software is a plus.
- Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
