Job Duties:
- Strong understanding of Dubai/Abu Dhabi / KSA Authority Guidelines standards and requirements
- Full understanding of dry utilities and infrastructure projects requirements from Concept masterplan stage to IFC stage.
- Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects Understanding of the requirements for primary substations EHV HV & LV corridors distribution substations pocket substations feeder pillars and service turrets HV up to 33kV LV networks calculations report writing skills
- Telecommunication infrastructure Network Design including ducts manholes and knowledge of GSM tower coverage requirements
- Design of Street Lighting for all type of roads ROW Lighting Calculations SLDs Load schedules landscape lighting branch wiring etc.
- Coordination with other disciplines such as wet roads transportation landscape and building teams
- Ability to manage a design and approval process interfacing with the project team Clients and Stakeholders
- Experienced in BIM In-depth understanding of relevant software is a must Revit knowledge is additional.
- Understanding from Concept master plan stage to Detailed Master Plan in terms of utility corridor space proofing ROW utilities requirements and develop Master plan calculations and reports
- Coordination with all local authorities of Middle East
- Prepare NOC submissions as per relevant authorities requirements
- Prepare Clarifications to Contractor RFIs Review/approve any key technical submittals related to electrical works and dry utilities (if required)
- Work towards digitalization skills innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals teams and projects
- Using leadership skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environments
- Able to work with multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- UAE National with a family book.
- Masters degree in Energy/Renewable Energy and/ or Electrical and Electronic Engineering is preferred not mandatory.
- More than 3 years of experience in Design Only Construction Supervision Candidates not preferred.
