Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Modeler specialising in mechanical systems to join our this role you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of mechanical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
- Develop and maintain complex 3D BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of mechanical systems with other building components
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between mechanical and other building systems
- Create detailed shop drawings and construction documents from BIM models
- Ensure compliance with industry standards building codes and project specifications
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on BIM-related issues
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering
