Job Summary:

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide technical support to Sales Marketing and Manufacturing teams through clear timely communication.
Lead and support product-related projects that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
Review evaluate and validate customer quotations including product construction material selection and application details.
Interpret customer specifications and perform related engineering calculations 2D/3D drawings and bill of materials preparation.
Deliver technical support throughout the full valve lifecycle including sizing selection manufacturing procurement and field service.
Perform and document engineering analyses and detailed design calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain engineering documentation to support quality improvement and cost optimization.
Contribute to engineering standardization across CTO-to-ETO projects.
Collaborate with global engineering teams on product localization activities.
Review and approve product documentation changes and new releases.
Support Sales Engineers in selecting products suited for diverse customer applications.
Participate in new product development and product redesign initiatives.
Ensure engineering-controlled documents are updated and maintained for assigned product lines.
Provide engineering support for installed products through field service requests.
Assist Manufacturing teams in resolving machining assembly and design-related issues.
Interpret and apply relevant industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME ASTM NACE API ISA ANSI AWS).
Apply GD&T principles to improve design clarity and manufacturability.
Support business unit initiatives and contribute to project execution aligned with organizational goals.
Adhere to all Health Safety & Environment policies.

For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Materials Industrial Design or Aerospace).
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience within Flow Controls or the valve industry.
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals mechanical design and related calculations.
Working knowledge of GD&T principles.
Solid understanding of metallic materials and material properties.
Experience with castings forgings machining welding and stampings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (ASME ASTM API EN ISO DIN).
Ability to work independently resolve manufacturing and technical challenges and collaborate effectively within a team.
Practical experience with design and drawing tools (e.g. basic CAD SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Knowledge of Fisher Rotary and Sliding Stem products.
3 years of experience in mechanical design manufacturing product evaluation/testing or similar engineering roles.
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with high attention to detail.
Strong analytical approach to evaluating and solving engineering or manufacturing challenges.
Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues related to design feasibility machine shop practices and foundry processes.
Experience working within a matrixed global organization.
