- Maintain and strengthen Aviation Business Middle Easts position as a leading voice in the regional aviation industry building strong relationships with airlines airports OEMs regulators suppliers and industry associations.
- Stay up to date with key developments across commercial aviation aerospace and defence advanced air mobility MRO leasing and financing sustainability and ESG ensuring relevance and authority in all published content.
- Oversee content output across print and digital platforms ensuring consistency in tone accuracy and depth while delivering proactive and agenda-setting journalism.
- Lead the execution of major annual initiatives including power lists special reports and industry recognitions aligned to the brands content plan.
- Play a central role in the brands events portfolio including the Aviation Business Middle East Awards Aviation Impact forums executive roundtable and recognition dinners. Moderate panel discussions conduct on-stage interviews and provide comprehensive pre- and post-event coverage.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team on sponsored features special reports and content partnerships ensuring all branded content aligns with editorial standards and delivers value to the audience.
- Work alongside editors across the wider B2B portfolio to identify shared themes cross-sector opportunities and collaborative initiatives that strengthen the overall Business Group.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of editorial experience ideally within B2B or business publishing with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Strong interest in aviation aerospace or transport infrastructure. Understanding of the GCC aviation landscape particularly the UAE and Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working across CMS platforms social media channels and newsletter systems with a solid understanding of digital publishing best practice.
- Ability to lead a major regional brand manage workflows effectively and contribute to long-term editorial strategy.
- Excellent writing editing and interviewing skills with the confidence to represent the brand publicly and moderate high-level industry events.
